This subject is conceived as a complement of Institutional Communication. Its aim is to give an overview of skills applied to corporate communication work in a company, an institution or PR and Communications agency.
It takes on account the social, geographic, economic and cultural factors that have influence on the communication process, as well as the expectations of different audiences and the timing, among other circumstances.
The way people understand and manage their own comunication (our tastes and preferences, our cultural background or even our lifestyle) underlies in all these factors.
This subject will address the common practices that allow effective management of corporate communication, from a theoretical and practical point of view.
Institutional Communication (recommended)
1. to provide a theoretical and practical knowledge on the main elements that imply the task of corporate communication.
2. to give a comprehensive view of the context, with particular emphasis on those factors related to decision making, negotiation and leadership skills.

| Lectures. In lectures, lecturers/professors not only transmit content or knowledge, but also, and above all else, attitudes, motivation, skills and values, etc. They also ensure that participants can express their opinions and arguments to the other students. | 1,4 |
| Practical workshop. A highly practical working activity, where students can acquire skills that are practical or also theoretical (intellectual skills, logical skills, critical skills, intellectual learning skills, study skills, quoting skills, etc). | 1,4 |
| Coaching. Monitoring how students learn the content of the subject, either individually or in groups. In the coaching sessions, mistakes will be corrected, queries answered, and exercises and activities to achieve the established objectives will be suggested. | 0,2 |
Final grade will be earned:
On first convocation:
• Continuous evaluation and class practice (50%).
• Final written exam (50%).
On second convocation, 100% theoric exam.
Bibliography will be announced in each lesson.
