Introduction

In the event that the health authorities announce a new period of confinement due to the evolution of the health crisis caused by COVID-19, the teaching staff will promptly communicate how this may effect the teaching methodologies and activities as well as the assessment.

This course is a laboratory of journalistic projects. Students will learn to conceptualize, develop and distribute journalistic projects in each of the main sectors in which the end of grade can develop your career: that of corporate communication, of printed and digital publications or transmedia journalism and, finally, the audiovisual.

During the first half of the course, students will develop specialized modules for individual conceptualization of a project about each of the major professional sectors. At the end of the three modules, students will have the knowledge and tools needed to decide the type of project they want to do as a Final Project (FP).

During the second half of the course, in groups of 3 persons and under the supervision of an academic tutor, students will draw the memory that justifies the project they want to accomplish as FP. At the end of the semester, they will defend their work before a court of specialized professionals. The valuations of these professionals will guide the project and give the hints to improve it through the second semester.
