This Rotation is one of the so-called "rotatory tutored clinical practices" or Rotary of the sixth year. The student has to dedicate some time to social tasks related to health, making a contribution that adds value to the social environament. It can be done in the fields of accompaniment, promotion, prevention, attention or rehabilitation of health.
The specific application document must be completed and delivered to the secretary at least one month before starting the rotation in the case of entities with an agreement and a month and a half in case of having to make a new agreement. No new agreements will be processed nor rotations will be available after April 15th.
The application must be confirmed by the center, identifying the tasks to be carried out and the proposed dates of internship.
It is essential to have received confirmation and acceptance by the responsible of the subject, before starting the activity.
The center where the internship is carried out must have a specific agreement with the University to perform the social rotation.
The student is expected to develop solidarity-like attitudes, values and behaviors, and to be sensitive to the needs of fragile or vulnerable people related to psychological, family, occupational, social health ... It is necessary to be aware of the contribution which as a medical student can do to society.
The Social Rotatory consists in performing a minimum of 50 hours (for example: two weeks in the morning) aimed at vulnerable or fragile people, performing social tasks related to the health environment (accompaniment, care, promotion of health, social reintegration ...), in recognized centers or entities. He will do so under the supervision and follow-up of a tutor or responsible person who will confirm the execution of the hours and activities once they have finished.
The student can choose between the centers and activities offered by the University, under the coverage and own insurance or can propose a new activity and center of their choice provided that it permits the fulfillment of the objectives and learning outcomes identified in this guide.

The basis for the rotation evaluation will be the survey of the student’s reflexive report at the end of the rotation where he will record his reflections and the evidences of learning.

Those cases in which the activity has exceeded the requirements of the rotation, the possibility of indicating "Cum laude" will be valued or increase the note obtained in the evaluation.
