Master’s Degree in Pathology and Surgery of the Anterior Segment of the Eye
Designed for today’s professionals
This master’s degree programme has been designed to offer students an in-depth study of the latest developments in diagnosing and treating pathologies of the anterior segment of the eye, as they learn how to use the best tools to help them hone the skills professionals need to diagnose and treat anterior segment pathologies, through clinical cases and practical work.
The programme’s content has been structured in line with the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) model, which is measured in ECTS credits. It is taught across seven subjects divided into two types of modules: on-site sessions and online sessions given through our Virtual Classroom.
UIC Barcelona works in collaboration with the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre, who offer state-of-the-art diagnosis tools, world-renowned professors and lecturers, exclusive treatments and a wide range of case studies.
Throughout the entire master’s programme, students will have the chance to collaborate with the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre and will be supervised by a first-class medical team who will accompany them throughout the academic year.
