Theoretical and Practical Course on Biologically Oriented Preparation Technique (BOPT)
- Theoretical explanation of the anatomical concepts of the BOPT technique.
- Showing clinical case studies of different situations in which the technique can be applied. Assessing the techniques’ potential by analysing case studies and using photographic documentation to clinically observe how the soft tissue improves thanks to the steps in this technique.
- Looking more closely at vertical preparation, preparing the tooth and its benefits in terms of the final tooth restoration.
- Putting the knowledge gained through the theoretical stage into practice, by carrying out a temporary crown based on the BOPT technique.
- Putting the temporary crown in place, step-by-step, and the materials and tools that can be used for a successful temporary crown.
- Finally, transferring all the information prepared during the BOPT technique and while making the temporary crown, and using it in your dental technique to make the final restoration.
