Implants and Periodontics Expert Diploma
Modern dentistry tends towards preventing rather than treating the diseases that can arise in the oral cavity. One of the biggest challenges in the field of prevention is the diagnosis, treatment and maintenance of the tissue that surrounds teeth and dental implants.
It is therefore important for dental practitioners to be well trained in diagnosing and treating periodontal and peri-implant diseases, in order to ensure that patients periodontal and peri-implant tissue is healthy throughout their lives.
Course objectives
The aim of this course is to provide a refresher for dental practitioners in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases. The course also provides the knowledge required to treat patients using osseointegrated implants. It includes details of the latest technical and scientific advances in periodontics and implantology, which are making a real difference on the way treatments are administered in practice.
