The Physiotherapy Based on Evidence: Appraisal and Physiotherapy Action for Controlling movement research group has the following main research objective: to analyse mechanisms for physiotherapy assessment in processes involving the control and execution of movement. This scientific activity has led to cooperation between different institutions in the national and international field and access to funding that promotes scientific production in the group and also knowledge transfer.
This group was recognised as a Consolidated Research Group for the period between 2017-2019 (SGR 297 2017 File) by the Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR), after receiving recognition as an Emerging Research Group during the 2014-2016 period. The scientific activity of this group has been demonstrated through numerous publications that have achieved an international impact, participation in conferences, and research training, through the creation of two University Master’s degrees, the Doctorate in Physiotherapy and the supervision of various FDPs and doctoral theses in Physiotherapy.
