The Personal Strengths research group focuses on research into strength of character. From the perspective of Positive Psychology, the aim is to study the impact of strength of character on people’s health, on the promotion of their wellbeing and the quality of their interpersonal relationships.
The group’s main interest is to develop tools for intervention that facilitate the growth of these strengths in any field of interpersonal relationships (partner, family, work and schools).
Specifically, the strengths that the group currently studies are forgiveness and kindness. Over the past 5 years the group has looked more in-depth into the measurement of forgiveness and the validation of different scales of forgiveness in Spanish.
We are interested in learning about these strengths through modelling and the generation of habits through the use of new technologies.
