GRC - Research Group in Biomaterials and Techniques for Dental Restoration and Endodontics
The Departments for Restorative Dentistry and the Department of Endodontics in the Faculty of Dentistry at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya all participate in this research group. The coordinator of the group is Dr Miquel Roig Cayón.
The objective of the Biomaterials and Techniques for Dental Restoration and Endodontics research group is to study aspects related to Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics such as:
Diagnosis in restorative dentistry and endodontics.
Processes of disinfection and the configuration of radicular conducts.
Adhesive restorations.
Prognosis of restorative treatments and endodontics.
Over the last 5 years we have published 42 articles in indexed JCR journals on Dentistry and Oral Medicine (20 in the first quartile). We have also published 3 articles in indexed journals on Pubmed and Scopus. We have supervised 10 doctoral theses. There are currently members of our group on the Board of the Spanish Society for Prosthetics and Aesthetics. Members of the group have contributed to numerous national and international conferences.
