Limited Places

What?

Blended learning course comprising 30 on-site hours and 60 hours of online work (5 ECTS), that will help you obtain a level of English under the CEFR. Students who pass this course will be able to register for the English B2 Certificate course, and therefore accredit a B2 level of English.

All members of the university community (students, PAS and PDI) and external students

Blended learning course (30 on-site hours and 60 on-line hours)  

Where and when?

  • 1st semester

Barcelona Campus, 14 October to 2 December, Monday and Wednesday, 3-5.00 p.m. 

Sant Cugat Campus, 13 October to 1 December, Tuesday and Thursday, 3-5.00 p.m.

  • 2nd semester

Barcelona Campus, 15 February to 14 April, Monday and Wednesday, 3-5.00 p.m. 

Sant Cugat Campus, 16 February to 15 April, Tuesday and Thursday, 3-5.00 p.m.

Price

  • UIC Barcelona students: €375
  • UIC Barcelona PDI and PAS: €75
  • External students: €450 

Certification

Certificate of attendance and completion and credit recognition. To earn a certificate, you must attend at least 50% of the on-site sessions, complete 80% of the online exercises and pass the final exam. 

Credit recognition

This course has a workload of 5 ECTS credits. If you are a UIC Barcelona undergraduate student, you can request recognition of 2 ECTS credits for taking the course. If you are an Erasmus student, you can include this course in your learning agreement. For mobility students, the number of credits recognised for this course will depend on your home university.
