Objectives

  1. To acquire a high level of knowledge in the area of oculoplastics, orbit and tear ducts grounded in evidence-based medicine.

  2. To acquire hands-on experience in oculoplastics that enables participants to work autonomously based on current criteria for action.

  3. To learn how to apply this specialisation professionally as part of a multidisciplinary and coordinated team and with experts in specific areas, in a climate of respect and mutual collaboration that promotes the exchange of knowledge, creativity and innovation.

  4. To ensure a good doctor-patient relationship by providing patients excellent individual attention, acting as a good, accessible, friendly and available professional.

  5. To learn how to use and gain experience handling cutting-edge oculoplastic diagnostic and treatment tools.

  6. To cultivate an ongoing desire to disseminate knowledge, teach and further one’s education.

  7. To acquire experience in research and project assessment.

  8. To acquire the knowledge necessary to perform oculoplastic surgery.
