The PhD Day in Business & Management is open to all PhD students from the fields of business and management. The idea behind this workshop is to create a special day in which PhD students can develop academically, learn from other like-minded students and expand their network by coming into contact with professors who are well-known in their respective disciplines. The event is divided into different sessions, including keynote talks, panel discussions, parallel sessions, poster sessions and workshops.
The workshop will be given entirely in English.

Upcoming events
The workshop will be given entirely in English.
Parallel sessions
During parallel sessions each presenter will have 10-15 minutes to present their work. Then, a discussant (another PhD student) will provide some feedback for the next 5-10 minutes. The chair of the session will then discuss the strengths and weaknesses of both the paper presented and the review.
By mid-April participants will receive a paper to discuss. They will have to write a constructive critique of another participants’ work.
Poster session
Posters will be exhibited throughout the day (remember to bring a printed copy of yours!). We encourage students to be ready to describe their research during the coffee break and lunch if someone approaches them and asks about it.
Networking: Book your slot!
For the networking session participants are expected to book a 30-minute slot with one of the academics participating in the workshop for a short mentoring session. By clicking on this link you can view the profile of each academic, so that you can see the topics they are working on and discover potential shared research interests. Once you are registered for the workshop we will be able to arrange a maximum of 2 meetings (with different professors/lecturers).
Deadline for initial submission (paper): 3 April
Notification of acceptance: 17 April
