Clinical practical in patients

Our teaching model is based on training our students to a high academic standard. That’s why we believe clinical practice sessions with patients are fundamental for training high level professionals. Residents must start treatment on a minimum of 50 patients, along with follow-up and completion of at least another 50 patients who have already started treatment with students from previous years on the course.

Our master's degree is characterised by a high number of practical sessions with patients. Practical sessions are carried out on an almost daily basis (four days a week), which means the Master in Orthodontics is highly professional.

Courses and conferences

At the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya we know it is extremely important for professionals to attend and participate in national and international conferences, which are extremely important for professional development.

All the students on the Master's course will receive lectures and courses given by leading professionals in the field of Orthodontics.

In addition, students must attend scientific conferences and take part with presentations and posters. They must also publish the results of their research in prestigious journals.

Some of the most important national and international conferences and courses are those run by: the College of Odontostomatologists of Catalonia, the Academy of Medical Sciences and Health of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, the Spanish Society of Orthodontics, the European Society of Orthodontics and the American Society of Orthodontics.
