Course Presentation

Oral implants are used to restore the aesthetics and function of lost teeth and the tissue surrounding them.

As a result of scientific progress, modern oral implant techniques have improved the quality of the treatments provided to patients, reducing treatment times, minimising treatment morbidity and improving the aesthetic results of restorations.

However, practitioners often encounter cases with limited bone availability, making implant treatment difficult.

Knowledge of advanced implant and periodontal techniques to improve bone availability and soft tissue provides the practitioner with the ability to tackle the most complex clinical cases and also to significantly improve the results in all cases in the normal clinical context. The use of such techniques has therefore become almost essential.

Course Objectives

Provide to dentists and maxillofacial surgeons the theoretical knowledge and especially the practical skills to carry out bone and soft tissue reconstruction and the most advanced implant surgery.

Skills Acquired

Exhaustive knowledge of the surgical anatomy of the maxillofacial area.

Understanding the surgical techniques for fitting implants in situations of low bone availability in association with bone augmentation techniques and applying said knowledge in practice.

Intended for

This course is aimed at those holding degrees in dentistry, stomatologists and maxillofacial surgeons.
