This online seminar aims to address what it means to leave this world alone due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This session will broach the phenomenon with reflections on clinical practice and participation from specialists in nursing, medicine and anthropology.
It is especially aimed at healthcare professionals.

The seminar will be given by Dr Cristina Monforte, co-director of the WeCare Chair and director of the Department of Nursing at UIC Barcelona.
Dying alone: an anthropological perspective
The seminar will be given by Dr Andrea Rodriguez, researcher for the WeCare Chair and lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at UIC Barcelona.

“Perspectives from a cancer institute.” Dr Gala Serrano, director of the Palliative Care Service at the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
